Our Story

The Monayi T. Jacob, CPA, PC practice started in 1993 on a small operating scale from Monayi’s (the founder and sole employee) home. On April 14, 1996, the business moved into an office space at CRS Towers located near downtown Dallas. On July 1, 1996, the practice was incorporated as a Professional Corporation (PC) and has been operating as such since then.

In the early days of incorporation, running the business was very difficult. The firm operated with one part-time employee for two or three years and then began hiring full-time employees. The staff spent long hours in the office daily, and Monayi often worked weekends. The firm consistently maintained its endeavor to achieve financial stability and develop professionally. The clientele ranged from healthcare clients under Medicare & Medicaid programs to non-profit entities and general businesses—including trucking companies, clinics, engineering firms, and merchandising companies.

In 2004, the firm decided it needed to move into a larger space to operate more efficiently. After much deliberation, the firm purchased one acre of land on Interstate Highway I-30 near the former office to build a new facility.

On January 14, 2024, Monayi T. Jacob tragically passed away at the age of 64. In honoring his legacy, Monayi’s loving wife and children committed themselves to continuing the work he built with such dedication.

Today, Nallathu Abraham Mathew, CPA, alongside Steven Jacob, Monayi’s son, lead M Accounting, Inc., carrying forward the legacy and values established by Monayi T. Jacob, CPA, PC.
